If you haven't had a chance to sign up for my "Story of Your Life" GIVEAWAY, please join the fun. You have until September 7th to enter. I'd love to hear from you! :)

Hey Friends! Welcome to Tasty Tuesday!

I'm curious...does anyone else wrestle with having a healthy meal ready for your family in the midst of full "Back to School" days??

What's a woman to do??

One word ~ CROCKPOT!!!

Although it is Tuesday, I'm giving my dear husband John a break from our Taco Tuesday's.

For today's Tasty Tuesday, we're switching from our traditional Tuesday Mexican food ....and making Quck and Easy Crockpot BBQ Chicken!! Yum!!!

Quick and Easy BBQ Chicken

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (if you live in GR, I recommend Miller chicken, and it's on sale this week at D & W. YUM!)

1 1/2 tsp. garlic power

1 tsp onion powder

1 18 oz bottle BBQ sauce

Spray inside of slow cooker with cooking spray. Place chicken breasts in slow cooker; sprinkle with garlic powder and onion powder. Pour barbeque sauce over chicken. Cover and cook on low heat for 7-8 hours.

Enjoy!! :)

Does it get any easier??

Trust me, your house will smell amazing with this BBQ Chicken!

I'm planning to make a side of potatoes, salad, applesauce, and french bread (also on sale at D&W). Voila!! Dinner is served!!

What's for dinner at your house tonight?? I'd love to hear your Tasty Tuesday ideas!!

And for more great recipes, head over to All Thingz Related, Tempt Your Tummy Tuesday and Tuesday's at the Table recipe exchanges. What fun!

Have a Terrific Tuesday!!

love my crock pot! I'll have to try this! Tonight, I made mini turkey meatloaves in muffin cups (somehow so much more appealing for kids!) and fresh green beans from the garden! Another great crock pot chicken idea - put chicken breasts in crock pot and dump a jar of salsa over top. Every once in awhile lift the lid and shred the chicken with a couple forks as it cooks. The chicken will absorb the salsa. Great to use in tacos or in nachos or on salads!!

We had chicken taco soup with mini wheat bagels tonight-it was good. Recently I did a few chicken breasts with BBQ sauce in the crockpot too, but we shredded it when it was done and served it as "pulled chicken bbq" sandwiches on potato rolls-really yummy and good leftover too! With many evening activities going on, dinner is often a challenge! Thanks for the resources you mentioned. Love, Jenny C.
